There's a fungus among us on the Parcours

Today we hiked the Parcours trail at Goodyear Heights.  I was especially drawn to all the fungus. 

I'm not sure if all the fungus would be under the snow or if it is only around because our weather has been so mild and damp but I saw this as an opportunity to photograph some of it.

I don't know any of the names of any of these fungus' but would like to research them.  Look at the way the fungus always grows parallel to ground no matter the angle of the branch.

I had planned that Annie and I could discuss nature today but she took our day in a different direction.  She enjoyed doing all the exercises of the course and talking non-stop about the Munsters.  Sometimes God blesses us with different plans and I thank him for those changes and loved every minute of listening to her.  All in all a very productive day for both of us
