I had been meaning to do this trail for a couple days but had not been feeling very well and then we had a snowfall of about 7 inches which kept me in another day. So in essence I think I missed walking for at least 4 days. They say when you start walking you start loosing conditioning after a three day break, so this walk double whammied me as my husband put it. After not walking and trudging through the snow I was glad to see the end of this trail. I feel guilty saying that but this was really a hard trail for me and with the snow covering everything there wasn't much to see. I did manage to get a few pictures though.
I think this stream may be supplied by the spring that this trail is named for.
A little further up from the stream this was the run-off from the beaver pond. Annie and Francis kicked snow off the bridge that passed over this and called it a glacier.
Not sure what kind of tree this is but I would like to figure it out. This trail had an area with a lot of these but I have no idea what they are. Maybe once they leaf out I will be able to figure it out.
We also saw this tree that looks like the woodpeckers enjoy very much ;)
