Nature Study

I have always felt that nature study is just as important as math and history In many ways I guess it is even more important. I think nature study teaches a child about life. The birth, growing, and eventual death that occurs with every form of life. Nature study teaches a child about God's great creation. When we focus on God and his awesome creation we really can appreciate his love for us. And isn't that ultimately what learning is all about?
With this blog, I hope to record where our adventure takes us as we learn to appreciate

All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful:
The Lord God made them all.

Each little flower that opens,
Each little bird that sings,
He made their glowing colors,
He made their tiny wings.
